Course Director's Message
Psychomotor skills development is key for successful neurosurgical procedures that should be learned and excelled by a resident of neurosurgery. Stereoscopic view of microscope and two dimensional display of endoscope with hand eye coordination are two new skills to be mastered by a neurosurgeon entering into training. Simulators role is proven in other fields of life like aviation for skills improvement. Neuro VR is virtual simulator for Neurosurgery training that enables residents and neurosurgeons to practice and develop expert skills in risk free environment for different microscopic and endoscopic procedures. Neurosurgery Department of Jinnah Hospital Lahore owns its neurosurgical simulator for better training of doctors, that is not only first of its kind in country rather in this whole region.
This course will be a good opportunity for residents and junior consultants for acquiring skills and enhancing gradually by using different instruments CUSA, drill, suction and microsurgical instruments in microscopic views and ETV in endoscopic view.

The Future of Neurosurgical Training
NeuroVR neurological training simulator enables neurosurgeons and residents to practice and develop expert skills in open cranial and endoscopic brain surgery within an immersive, VR training environment. With modules that replicate realistic instruments, imaging, and open neurosurgical procedures, NeuroVR allows risk-free, self-directed practice resulting in reduced medical errors and better patient outcomes.
A wonderful opportunity for the Residents of Neurosurgery to get trained by Neuro Virtual Reality System. Registration is open for the Upcoming Advanced and Fundamental Neurosurgical Training Course with Neurosimulator, at Department of Neurosurgery Jinnah hospital Lahore.
Those who will register in the first course will be preferred for the upcoming further advanced modules in this year.
Registration Fees
Module 1 for junior residents 5000 Rs
Module 2 for senior residents 8000 Rs
Full 100 % scholarship is available for those who apply with strong scholarship recommendation by their supervisors.
Department of Neurosurgery jinnah hospital Lahore will provide full scholarship to the candidates on the basis of merit.
Scholarship includes Registration fee and accommodation as well.
