A proud moment for Team Neurosurgery was inauguration of independent new Operation Theatre in emergency surgical suite. Previously emergency Neurosurgical operations were performed in shared operation theatre, sometimes leading to delays in operation due to non availability of theatre.

This new independent operation theatre would prove blessing for Neurosurgical Emergency patients requiring urgent Brain operations, without being in queue of other speciality patients. It would result in better outcome both in terms of morbidity and mortality.

Better Neurosurgical trauma care is philosophy of Prof. Naveed Ashraf and team Neurosurgery is paving its way under his guidance and this establishment is a milestone for it. Principal Prof. Arif Tajamal and M.S Dr Iftikhar had great contribution for making this dream come true.

New Operation Theatre was inaugurated by Prof. Naveed Ashraf in presence of other faculty staff and Medical Superintendent JHL.
